Based on the ancient Greek myth of Icarus who escaped with his father from Crete by flying. To achieve this his father Daedalus constructed from feathers and wax. Daedalus warned Icarus first against complacency and then of hubris. He instructed Icarus to fly neither too low nor too high, lest the sea’s dampness clog his wings or the sun’s heat melt them. Icarus ignores Daedalus’s instructions not to fly too close to the sun. His wings melted and he tumbled out of the sky then falling into the sea he drowned.
