In Time & Space landscape photos prints – A Beautiful Danby Dale Tree Over Time
For 2 years ( & counting) I have photographed this lone tree situated on a hillside looking up Danny Dale, in the North Yorks Moors National Park near Castleton. This was not a chore as it lay just off the daily dog walk of Toby and later Benji. 30,000 years ago Danby Dale was moulded by glacier action, and its wide U shaped valley would have been full of a massive glacier which flowed slowly down to present day Whitby.
