Day Tripper – Vintage People Pictures – Traditional Fun Fair Dodgems & Wurlitzer Ride.
I am always drawn to fairs and fair rides. My great Grandfather, Randall Williams, was a famous showman so I guess it may be in the blood. The way the fair return everyone back to their childhood is wonderful. Sadly fun fair rides are very expensive nowadays, and the pennies I used to save for Buckingham annual fair wouldn’t go far today.
I took these photos of people enjoying the dodgems and Wurlitzer ride in 1989. think they have dated nicely and the patina of time paints a picture of innocent fun. I hope you enjoy the photos
