Ballowall Barrow, also known as Carn Gluze Barrow, is situated on the cliff top and is a prehistoric funerary cairn chambered tomb which contains several periods of use from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age.

At 72 feet (22 m) in diameter Ballowall Barrow is as a centrally domed chamber with a pit below. It is surrounded by an outer cairn and the entrance is located in the external side of the outer cairn.

The construction of Ballowall Barrow is unique consisting of a mixture of Neolithic and Bronze age styles.
